Currently we rebuild MOST Vintage Japanese Inline-4 and twin engine motorcycle carburetors, along with american CV and S&S carbs for Harley Davidson motorcycles. Please check the additional info for all service details and restrictions.
This service is for customer supplied carburetors only. Please note additional charges are added if the carburetors are sent completely disassembled, so it is better to send your carburetors still attached on their rack assembled.
We replace parts that need to be replaced and make necessary repair as part of the included cost EXCEPT if the needed parts are rubber slide diaphragms or certain other parts of this nature that are not normally included in rebuilds and rebuild kits. In addition to this, if a carburetor body is too badly damaged and un-serviceable, we will not repair or replace the carburetor body.
We cannot provide free technical advice as it takes away from our time working for our paid customers. This is why we charge a $5 service fee in order to differentiate serious customers from ones that are not.
We cannot make stand alone repairs on damaged carburetors, an example of this is aluminum welding for a cracked or broken carburetor body.
Tuning: Please note that once you receive your rebuilt carburetors, they will need to be synced and the adjustment screws will also need to be tuned. Each engine is different, and for best results and precision tuning you must have your carburetors attached to your motorcycle. We will try to keep your carbs as close to factory setting as possible, but additional syncing and tuning will still be necessary after installation.
If you decide that you don’t want your carburetors rebuilt while waiting for the work to be completed, we will not offer any refunds. We will also charge a flat rate of $60 USD to ship your carburetors back to you in whatever condition the carburetors are currently in.
When shipping your carburetors to us, please send us a note with the date it was shipped as well as a tracking number. We will contact you when the carburetors have been received, and once the work is completed we will send you a tracking number for your package.
